Water

Since 2008 GambiaPartner has built water supply in partnership with villages that have no water supply of their own.

Projects are designed to give the users ownership. The village pays a share of the construction, and afterwards each compound pays a monthly maintenance fee. This makes the system sustainable, so the village does not depend on aid to run it.
