Skill Center
The Skill Center opened in January 2017 and has become very popular. Students choose one of five vocational lines, and everyone takes the same common subjects – English, mathematics, ICT and Work Skills.
The programme runs over two years. The first four months introduce all trades; students then specialise in one. The school is accredited by NAQAA.

After a common foundation course, each student chooses one line and specialises in it for the rest of the programme.

Work culture: attendance, responsibility, quality and teamwork.
How the programme works
- Year 1 · Sep–DecFoundation: plumbing, construction, electrical and carpentry every week, plus common subjects.
- Year 1 · Jan–JulSpecialisation in the chosen trade – two full days a week (8–10 hours).
- Year 2 · Sep–DecFurther specialisation with the same structure.
- Year 2 · from MarchThree-month industrial attachment.
Religiously neutral – with room for everyone
The Skill Center is a religiously neutral school. At the same time, we make sure that both Muslim and Christian students can keep their religious routines during the school day.

The garden, life skills, sport and day-care
The school garden
Vegetables are grown for sale and own use. Income buys chicken and fish for the canteen.
Life skills
Gatherings and lessons that prepare students for life after school.

A football pitch and a volleyball court on campus.

Childcare for the little ones of mothers in the single mothers programme.
